COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This school is designed to enhance a patrol rifle operator’s ability to place accurate fire upon targets that are partially exposed or hostage takers encountered during patrol operations using magnified optics. This level of training is the next progression for law enforcement patrol rifle preparation. It enables an agency to field a group of first responders who have the training, equipment and ability to deliver more precise shot placement than an ordinary patrol rifle operator.
EQUIPMENT:Patrol rifle / MSR (not caliber specific) with a sling, LPVO or red dot with magnifier capable of less than 2x magnification on the lowest setting and no greater than 10x on highest setting. 200 rounds of quality factory rifle ammunition, 3 rifle magazines, pistol with holster (must safely retain the handgun while moving) and 50 rounds of pistol ammunition. Eye and ear protection is mandatory.
INSTRUCTOR: Mark Stout
PREREQUISITE: Open to LE, MIL, and CITIZENS. Citizen students must possess a CPL. Students must be proficient patrol rifle users and should be in good physical condition to attend this course.
