Integrated Magazine Pouch GEN2
U.S. PATENT NO. 8,231,038
U.S. DESIGN PATENT NO. D624149
April 2013 - NEWS FLASH!!!
Leave it to the ingenuity of a police officer and they will find a new and sometimes better way to make a product work.
To our amazement, we are getting feedback from our loyal customers that they are attaching their electronic control device (ECD) holster to the PIMP.
These innovative officers are taking the belt clip device off their ECD’s holster and using it as a template to drill holes through the PIMP’s accessory attachment clip. Then, they are affixing the ECD’s holster directly to the PIMP’s accessory attachment clip using the ECD’s holster’s hardware (screws). The rest of the assembly works just the way it does if you’re attaching a pistol mag pouch or a cuff case.
We tried the setup ourselves and wore this setup while on duty at our police jobs. It worked out great! Look for us to come out with templates for several of the most commonly used ECD holsters (Safariland, Taser & Blackhawk). |

With the specters of incidents such as Columbine, Virgina Tech, and the most recent massacre in Mumbai, the role and preparation of the first responder, your patrol officer's, is more important than any other single facet of your agency's response to violent incidents.
In confronting violent criminals or terrorists, your patrol officers will be First To The Fight. Instantly multiply their force & increase their survivability by issuing them this affordable and common sense solution.
The Integrated Mag Pouch is a result of our never ending desire to improve training and equipment so that our clients can better serve their departments and communities. This innovative piece of gear helps solve the re-occurring problem that Patrol Officer's across the country encounter daily...
"How can I effectively carry a second rifle magazine?"
In short, the Integrated Mag Pouch allows an officer to carry a second AR type rifle magazine, securely, on their person in a manner that looks sharp and very professional. This is accomplished by joining the Integrated Mag Pouch with the officers issued pistol magazine pouch or other duty gear. This gives the officer a comfortable and secure point to carry either a 20 or 30 round AR magazine while not taking up any additional space on their gun belt.

In saving space on the gun belt, the Integrated Magazine Pouch pushes whatever it is attached to away from the belt line 1”. This initially may cause concern that it sticks out too far and is likely to get caught consistently on common objects. However, once the Integrated Magazine Pouch is used, you will quickly see that concern is negligible and realize the profound benefit of having an extra rifle magazine on your gun belt during training and most importantly while working the streets of the community you protect.
Officers do not go on patrol carrying only one pistol magazine, so why send them on patrol without at least one extra rifle magazine? |

BACKGROUND
For years now we've watched officers on the street and at our patrol rifle schools struggle with how to carry a second rifle magazine. Some methods seem to work better than others, but for the most part, since there is no room on the typical officers gun belt for a rifle magazine pouch, they are forced to carry a second magazine mounted on the rifle itself. That solution is obviously far better than not having one at all when your bailing out of a squad car at a dynamic scene with your patrol rifle. Yet, we have always thought there had to be a better way...
So, at past NPRCs we specifically watched how the competitors carried their extra magazine(s), and subsequently how they deployed those magazines under the pressure of competition, which involved some very realistic, physical, and stressful evolutions of fire.
We were shocked to see so many of the competitors repeat what we've seen on the street and in training many times over. That being magazines falling out of pockets and malfunctions caused by weapon mounted pouches & cinch devices. More than ever before these observations made us want to correct and simplify the matter of carrying a second rifle magazine in the every day patrol environment.
Thus the birth of the PATROL RIFLE INTEGRATED MAG POUCH.
With this goal in mind our instructors worked hand in hand with our engineers and were able to make this vision a reality.
Our sincerest thanks go to the following instructors and friends who helped guide this project. Their efforts have helped develop a product that will be of great service to their chosen profession.
