NPRC Competition Rules

The spirit of this competition and the rules which govern it are intended to make the competitor use what they use on the street during everyday operations. We want you to compete with what you use on the street, not what you may want to use just for fun in the competition. If your equipment fails you here consider it a blessing and make the necessary changes to ensure it doesn’t happen on the street. The bad guy will not give you alibi rounds, redoes, or sympathy. Neither will we during this competition. So please understand that these rules are meant strictly to enhance your survivability by forcing you to test your equipment and yourself under stress and realistic circumstances.

This is not a "Sniper" competition or game. It is a combat oriented carbine competition for the law enforcement patrol environment.

Therefore, sniper related equipment such as “competition bull barrels, barrels without compensator's or flash suppressors, barrels without iron sights (front sight post), and variable powered optics with a maximum magnification of greater than x6 power, will not be allowed in this competition.

Good luck, and make sure your equipment is ready to go!!!
